WORDHOUSE WEALTH COACHING

10 Rules to Avoid Scandals & Ponzi Schemes

After reading this list and comparing how your investments follow the rules, you will see that you are not invested in a scheme, but are investing in a plan that gives you Peace of Mind.

  1. Advisor must not hold investors’ funds. Wordhouse Wealth Coaching (WWC) does not, Matrix does not, & DFA does not hold your money. Trust Company of America (TCA) is an independent custodian and holds your MPT (Modern Portfolio Theory) accounts.

  2. Withdrawals from your accounts require investor’s approval and are sent only to the account owner or owners’ bank account, never directly to the adviser. You need to sign a form to release money from your accounts. Neither WWC nor Matrix EVER receives you requested money from your custodian.
  3. A custodian who holds investor accounts and trades those accounts must be a third party. TCA (Trust Company of America) who holds and trades your accounts does not own or control Wordhouse, Matrix, nor DFA nor do any of these three own or control TCA.
  4. You must get account statements and prospectuses directly from the custodian. You get quarterly statements and DFA prospectuses directly from Matrix and TCA .
  5. You are able to access your custodian’s web site to make sure they are legitimate: http://www.trustamerica.com/
  6. You must have a sense of healthy skepticism, as promised rates of return like 12% are too good to be true. WWC, Matrix, and DFA make NO investment return promises…EVER!
  7. Scams have commissions…so the scam artist makes his money up front. Wordhouse Wealth Coaching is FEE ONLY.
  8. Gains are unrealistically high. The MPT goal is to capture market returns with less risk.
  9. Look for returns that are too consistent, given market conditions. WWC investors are all in the same MPT boat, riding the random market waves.
  10.  Adviser can’t or won’t explain investment strategy in plain English. We live to teach how the SIMPLE it is to understand Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) strategy works!
