We pray that you had a wonderful time with family and friends this past Christmas and New Years Day.

We are very pleased to be investing with Modern Portfolio Theory, as we are more protected from the volatility of the market,  thanks to the low correlation of how our asset classes are configured and to the amount of unique holdings we have in our portfolio.

Being educated on how we invest eliminates fear and gives our clients the most Peace of Mind.

WWC 2008 CHANGES

New Client Advisory Fee:  The one time fee is now $2000.  We continue to waive the fee for your heirs and immediate family members who are just starting their investment career.

Minimum Household Account for New Clients: We have increased our household minimum to $100,000.  We will still work with those who are close to this minimum, but create a plan to get their account to $100,000 ASAP.

No Minimums: If your employer wants Matrix to manage their whole employer retirement plan, there is no minimum household investment.  There is also no minimum for your heirs and children, who are first time investors.

ANNUAL APPOINTMENTS

Pre-retirees,  we need your updated Social Security, MIP (school staff) and Retirement Plan information, in order to update your Retirement Cash Flow analysis for your annual review.  If you do not have the information, please ask how to obtain it, so we can go over the analysis during your review.

INLAND CAPITAL FUND

This investment is closed.  Investors got a 17% annualized non-compounded cumulative return on their investment, if in the program from inception.  Once you receive your final distribution, call Lynn to move 100% to your Matrix account.

DEDUCTING ADVISORY FEES YOUR TAXES

You can claim Advisory fees on your Federal 1040 Miscellaneous Deduction line as Investment Advisory Fees.

Remember to deduct  ALL your Advisory Fees you have paid throughout the year.  This includes WAG fees and Quarterly Fees.   Lynn will send you a form to help you calculate the total amount paid or you can click on this   2007 Tax Worksheet link to print out a form.

Please call Lynn if you have any questions.

SOLD TAXABLE ACCOUNTS?

If you sold any taxable accounts (Individual, Joint, Trusts) last year, you need to give your tax preparer Coast Basis information before your taxes can be finalized.   You will get this information from Trust Company of America.

ABUNDANCE  FREE MARKET FUNDS

Thank you for your exceptional confidence in WWC and Matrix.   Most of you have already moved many of your accounts to the Abundance Free Market Funds.  We are excited about the greater diversification, lower risk, and the better return potentials.  Not everyone's fees were reduced, but the greater diversification off set any small increase in fees.

If you still have some questions about the FM philosophy, give Maria a call.  If you want to move and have not completed your paperwork, or have a paperwork question, please call Lynn.

INVESTOR CLASSES

We teach three types of classes and expect our clients to attend them all:

  1. Investor Education Series
  2. Life Coaching
  3. Stewardship Coaching.

It is important that you have the tools to make wise decisions with your money and to share your knowledge with others.  These classes give you fundamental information into the technical, introspective and non-technical aspects of investing and planning.  They will answer the question: "Why is Matrix where I want to have my money?"

Invite them to attend the FOG Movie Events, as we will again be doing the Ministry MPT Game, where each answer is worth $250!  Ask our Christmas party attendees how much fun it was to win money for their favorite charities!  The more people that attend from your charity, the more chances they have to win some money!  Start inviting now!  We have about 100 seats to fill at each event!

LOOSING MONEY IS PAINFUL, EMBARRASSING & STRESSFUL!

It does not matter how many college degrees you have, no one taught you how to protect your wealth from the problems stock brokers and financial planners create!

Please share your joy of never having to worry about the financial market again.  Your heirs, siblings, parents, friends need to know about Free Markets / MPT.  Please bring them to our events!  Don't you want the inheritances you give your heirs to stay in MPT, so they don't have to experience the common investor mistakes?  Invite them now to the Fog of Investing Movie Events!  We are renting movie theaters, so there will be plenty of room for ALL your family and friends!

WEALTH WITHOUT WORRY BOOK

We are so happy that we were able to send each of your households a copy of this book. Please read this book as your 2008 MPT homework.  It is good for you to hear from a non-Matrix person, the same thing you hear from us.  After you have read the book, please pass it on to your heirs, family, and friends. They need to know the best way to invest too!

CRTs TO DAFs

If donors do not need the future income from their Charitable Remainder Trust ( CRT), the CRT can be converted to a Donor Advised Funds (DAF).  In recent years, the popularity of the DAF has grown rapidly as individuals find that they can lessen their tax burden and direct more dollars to charity by harnessing the power of the DAF. The DAF is very flexible and has many benefits: immediate income tax deduction, no set-up charge, contribute now and grant monies to charities later, carry the family name, use it for teaching future generations how to participate in gifting, can be funded with appreciated assets, and additional tax-deductible contributions can be made at any time.

ONAGA

Many Inland Chicago clients still have small accounts with Onaga.  Let's move these to Matrix for better diversification.

WWC ADV

Every January we offer you an updated ADV.  Just call or email Lynn and she will email or mail it to you.

NO MORE P.O. BOX ADDRESS

We are closing our P.O. Box in Plymouth and using Phyllis' address for all general communication.  Please mail all paperwork to Lynn's address.  See contact info below for addresses for each person.

We love to hear from you!  Please call the person who you need via cell phone or email to reach us quickly.  We are a virtual company and take pride in being available to help when you need it.
